I will introduce my collection of vacuume tubes which were bought from international sellers. Type 45, I will show you the Raytheon made 4-Pillar BOX plate construction. For very rare tube, I will show you the SIEMENS and Telefunken brand which made in Germany, and Western Electric brand which made in USA.

Comments General speaking, this type Da tube has a compatible characteristic with type 205D Western Electric made, but it has same one like a type 45. I have VALVO brand, but has different construction. It will run with long life approximatly over 16 thousand hours.

TELEFUNKEN EbIII

Items Description

Comments This type EbIII tube has a same characteristic with Ad1, but installs for professional use. My friend informed me that it runs on a low temperature of heater filament, so it has a long life. The construction is very fine.

Comments I got these tubes from my friend who lives in Norway. I lost several chance to get family of type RE604 tube for a long time. Thanks again Jhonny !! The picuture shows type B409,RE134,RE304 from the left side.

AEG K1694,Telefunken AZ12

Items Description

Comments This type K1694 had coated by metal atomizer. So you do not have a detail construction from it, but I like the out line shape. It was made by many manufactures in Germany. It has a compatible characteristic with REN904. I want to get it, but it's rare tube in the world.

Comments The european made ST shape is better than USA made. Type AZ12 was made by many manufactures in Germany. I have RFT brand, DORAM brand, but Telefunken brand has the best quality.

ITT 3A/109B

Items Description

ITT、STC ITT(International Telegraph Company) was established in 1925, by ATT company in USA. They made a compatible tube for Western electric tube.

Comments Generally speaking, type 3A/109B is compatible for Western electric type 104D. But the sound quality is different with both tubes. The tube code of last letter "A" means UV socket shape, "B" means UF socket shape. I recomend "B" type if you have a chance to get it, beacuse of having strong contacts. I have a family of these tubes, 3A/108A,3A/109B,3A/110B. These tubes will be lost in the world.

ITT、STC	ITT(International Telegraph Company) was established in 1925, by ATT company in USA. They made a compatible tube for Western electric tube.
Comments	Generally speaking, type 3A/109B is compatible for Western electric type 104D. But the sound quality is different with both tubes. Northern Electric 205D

Items Description

Northern Electric The Nothern Electric company was branch of Western Electric in Canada. The tube brand of NE has a compatible characteristic and quality with WE made. But usually, we can buy them at low price than the WE tubes. I had a recommendation from seller that he had better condition NE-205D tubes than WE-205D. So I bought 2 pcs of tubes from him.

UX socket?? Generally speaking, type 205D tube has UV shape socket. But this NE-205D has UX shape socket. It's prefer for me, because The UX socket has strong contact than UV socket. I had a news from friends that NEC company had been made same shape too. It is an interesting news.

Zoom up plate constraction The getter is coated on the top of grass. The patent signature is engraved around grass. I think this construction is very simple. If you have a chance to get it, please check the grass pillar. Due to have weak construction, it will be clacked by vaiblation at easyly. but the tube often runs well.

Northern Electric 102D

Comments Lackly, I get the type 102D tube brand in Northern Electric, too. This type is very rare. The socket shape is "UV", it is different with NE-205D.

Western Electric 102F,102L

Items Description

Comments The picture shows type 102F, 102L at the left side. I can not choice these tubes without wacthing the printed letter on the base. The heater of electric current is differnt each other, type D(1.0A), F(0.5A), L(0.25A). Regarding as the electric current, the sound character is as follows: D(fat), F(natural), L(delicate). I will try to check the unique sound with chenging tubes.

Raytheon 45

comments I like the type 45 tube in USA made. I had collected over 40 pcs yet. In these tubes, I prefer Raytheon made brand, especially 4 pillar box plate construction. It has a strong electrode, the heater is supported with each side of pillar and has two section, so called "4-piller". i have the baroon shape type 245, but DUD.

Comments The Raytheon brand had been made on many variation as follows:
- Baroon shape 245 engraved the brand mark on the box plate. - Baroon shape 245 no mark box plate. - Engraved base with 4-Pillar box plate. - Engraved base with 4-Pillar standard plate. - Printed base with standard plate. I recomend to choice the "Engraved base with 4-Pillar box plate".

Raytheon 80

Items Description

Comments I recomend the type 80 tube which made by Raytheon with 4-pillar construction. i heard that it's better than type 247 tube Western Electric brand. But I did not confirm the news. I had chacked the unique sound by brand(RCA, SYKVANIA, RAYTHEON) , I prefer the Raytheon brand.
