Comments I belive that type 45 vacuume tube is king of triode in the USA made, because of his natural sound and reasonable price. I had collected more than 40pcs tubes, and tried to check his unique sound by Brand(RCA,KENRAD,NATIONAL UNION,SYLVANIA,CUNNINGUM,RAYTHEON). The Raytheon made tube, especially 4-Piller BOX Plate construction makes good sound for me. Regrettablly, that type is very rare tube in the world. Comments Type 3A/109B tube makes very clear sound, so I think that it has the exact opposite sound to the type 45 tube. Now testing !:)

Comments I think that The Vaic made type 300B is not compatible for the Western Electric made. I do not recomend to buy it, because of expencive price(US$600/pair), weak construction of heater. I think chinese made tube is better than this one. I had modified this one to the type 71A single amprifire.
